Music Review - 1920
This album has something for everybody the classes and the masses and the use of classical singers adds a grace to the music. 'Vaada tumse hai vaada' by Pt Jasraj is an experiment that has been successful - a nostalgic romantic number talking about promises made, it is sure to touch a chord in listeners. The theme number 1920 is instrumental and has a lovely, subtle effect created by the keyboards - Sami's specialty - and violins.

Music Review - Karzzzz
Himesh reshamiya has surpassed himself in this remake of the very popular film Karz starring Rishi Kapoor. In the first number 'Ek haseena thi' you can't recognize the composer/singer/actor!! But after that it's good old Reshamiya in full nasal form. 'Tere bin cahin na' and 'Soniye jet' ere are typical Himesh and his fans will be joyful.

Music Review - ADA
This is a rare happening in film music where only a couple of numbers are targeted as best selling ones while a couple of indifferent ones are put in casually enough without worry of criticism if two numbers have hit top of the charts. The music of Jaane tu ya jaane na is just making waves and ADA comes in at the same time. And it holds your musical attention at once.

Music Review - Love story 2050
Nine tracks in this sci-fi movie and like in most Anu Malik composed, there are a few that stand out in the whole-the romantic number Meelon ka and Mausam achanak are by far the ones that remain with you after the album is completed. Javed Akhtar and Anu Malik have worked very well together in this film which has all the ingredients of a blockbuster.

Music Review - Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic
If its this trio of composers you expect worthy stuff and they do deliver if not uniformly. Pyar ke liye immediately makes you listen with anticipation whereas Lazy Lamhe is gentle on the listener. All in all the album is good without being outstanding but with Shankar Ehsaan and Loys music you can never gauge when the music grows on you and you start humming it despite yourself.

Music Review - Dhoom Dhadaka
Roop Kumar Rathod as composer suggests some virtuous compositions but here what we get is the usual filmy fare. Was that just his brief or was the film uninspiring? Shashi Ranjan as director just cannot be inspiring. The title song by Daler Mehndi and Jaspinder Narula is a pure Punjabi effort, noisy and aggressive, very Punjabi. On the whole this track wasn't the right vehicle for an accomplished musician like Roop Kumar Rathod.

Music Review - Anamika-The untold story
Good lyrics and pacy Anu malik help make it a fine listen. 'Aashiqui', with Shaan's youthful rendition, holds promise of vintage Anu Malik peppy arrangements. One notices that Malik gives his best to the big productions otherwise he loses steam. Though the album started of well with Aashiqui it went down progressively.

Music Review - Bhootnath
This album has several reasons why you must listen to it, apart from Amitabh Bachan singing it has introduced the bubbly Juhi Chawla as a singer too. Juhi has a pleasing voice and under good composers she might just do well as playback singer. Bachan's number 'Mere buddy' is pure vintage Bachchan entertaining and in tune little Armaan Malik singing for the kid alongside makes this a number that promises great fan following.

Music Review - Woodstock villa
If it's a Sanjay Gupta film the music has to be reminiscent of his films. Woodstock Villa too follows this principle except that Gupta has roped in the rock band Aryans to do a song picturised on Gupta's good friend now ex. This particular number is creating waves currently and will probably end up being the USP of this album.

Music Review - Mr White Mr Black
'Tu makki di roti' has Daler Mehndi, Mika and Asha bhosle - quite a line up of popular singers, this is composed by Shamir Tandon and appears again in a remix version - not bad as songs go but a little lackluster. The Jatin-Lalit composed 'Ek dil ki' reminds you of their earlier good compositions. Shaan and Udit Narayan doing their best.
